Keith T. Vernon, Esq.

Keith Vernon (Principal) - Mr. Vernon is an accomplished advisor and litigator with over twenty years of experience guiding individuals, businesses, government entities, trade associations and faith based organizations. Prior to establishing The Vernon Law Firm Mr. Vernon practiced in an Ohio-based law firm where he held the position of partner in the firm's Washington office and served as co-chair of a firm litigation section.

Mr. Vernon is an AV Rated attorney [highest rating available with Martindale-Hubbell] and is listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers Manual [2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2103, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018]. Mr. Vernon is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association and serves on the American Bar Association Committee as Chair of the Stakeholder Engagement Sub-Section.

In addition to his litigation matters, Mr. Vernon served as consultant advisor to an international faith based religious Order providing guidance to the Order on matters relating to corporate shareholder engagements and social justice initiatives in matters relating to human rights and environmental sustainability.

Mr. Vernon received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph's University in 1991 and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School Law in 1996. Mr. Vernon focuses his practice on client matters relating to shareholder engagements; public policy, employment, product liability/injury, and business matters.

Mr. Vernon lives in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife and three children. Mr.Vernon has served on multiple Boards including currently serving on the Board (and as past President) of The Friends of the Light House Shelter [a comprehensive homeless prevention center in Annapolis].
